What
This project stemmed from a collaboration with a Nigerian graduate student, delving into the corruption within corporate organizations dominating the cocoa industry. Together, we envisioned a sustainable alternative company prioritizing equity and inclusion in Nigeria.
Why
Recognizing the monopolization of the chocolate industry by corporations, it becomes imperative to acknowledge the origins of this commodity. Through the creation of a fictional chocolate company, our primary aim is to raise awareness about the countries that produce cocoa.
How
Thorough research led to the decision to undertake both brand identity exploration and product design exploration for this endeavor. The focal point of the project was the handmade chocolate packaging, characterized by the hexagonal design showcased in the brand imagery section.
